tub/shower drain

The water goes down really slow. I snaked the pipes and it still doesn't work. It must be in the stopper system. How can I get that out? We don't really need to put a new one in since we just use the shower anyway.

Post a picture it could be many differant styles.
If there's a level mounted to the side of the tub to work it then remove the two screws and pull it out.
