I've managed to replace other switches in the house without a hitch but I tried a gcfi switch in the kitchen and it burned out our lights over the sink, recently decided to give it another shot in our downstairs bathroom with an outlet and a light switch, I removed the old ones and it appears they both have too many wires that I don't know where to connect them, now that they're not connected, the light next door in the laundry room isn't working

Yep, pictures of all the wires, and switch. Never heard of a GFCI switch. Maybe a GFCI receptacle/switch combination. Picture it, too.
