Hello
I have a question and have had no luck in finding an answer in Google, so I thought I'd try registering and asking here. I am working on our unfinished basement and have got to the point where I'm about to put in the recessed lighting we have chosen, (http://www.homedepot.ca/product/new...non-insulated-ceilings-4-inch-aperture/919255)
However the plan we have drawn up is having some challenges with the air duct work in the ceiling (I've included some pictures)
My question is, can these housings be touching the duct work? I think in some cases the fire box (?) will be pressed up pretty hard against these, and in other cases the white lamp case will be. I'm not sure if this is very safe.
If not, we will have to move to a completely different lighting plan, or consider redoing our duct work (which I don't have a clue to do yet).
Advice much appreciated.
Cheers
