Ok, so what i am trying to do is create a mini nichrome coil heater that runs of 2xcr123 batt's and can heat up to to turn propylene glycol into vapour. Basically lke a mini fog machine.
Latent heat of vaporization: 101.3kpa (respectively 60.5mpa. 19) 2.49KJ / kg
° ree; C and 711KJ / kg
How fast you want this process to work?

Ok i just found out that
Propylene GlycolBoiling Point: 188.2 °C

I need it to get to that temprature within a matter of seconds. If possible 1 sec.

Thanks for the speedy response :)

Hopefully i want the batts to be around 3.6v with a rating of around 1200 mah

You need 1 btu per pound per °F.
188°C = [(188+40)(9/5)]-40 = 370°F
so for one pound of this stuff you need to input 370 btus =

108 watt hours of energy.
108 w-h is 1080 w for 6 minutes is 10,800 w for 3.6 sec is 39 kW for 1 second, about as much as 40 residences take each second.

Sounds impractical.
Which design constraint would you like to relax?
