I received my trusses yesterday and installed them today. The end trusses are the same size as the others. So that means I can't make a traditional gable overhang. I wanted to to do a 1 foot overhang with facia. I could make a slight overhang by doubling my lumber, but that won't work with my metal roofing.. The metal roofing has ridges that overlap and have to have exact dimensions. How can I make an overhang on my gable end that literally attached to the front of the sheeted truss?

THanks

We never get a dropped truss for a one foot overhang
For 1 ft you can just build ladders on the outside with 9" blocks and 2 2x4s cut to match the rafter top member.
If you want to go more than 12" or if ladders are not accepted where are come back. for more tricks.
