Hello all, I was having a problem with one of my units on the roof. I was getting a trouble code 6 involving the inducer fan motor. Tried resetting the unit, blower comes on waiting for the inducer fan motor to turn and nothing. Motor spins fine no restrictions. Later on I replaced the inducer fan motor with a new one. Same issue. Next tried swapping the ignition board (relay board) with a working spare. No avail. Any help would be much appreciative.

It would be beneficial if you did some troubleshooting before ordering parts and hoping they'd fix the issue.
What's the voltage at the inducer? Is it calling for heat? What safety's are open?
We could also use the model and serial off the equipment.
Several models of carrier will shut down the entire heating side of the rollout or limit is open. Check the heat exchanger.

Who said anything about ordering parts ? I had a spare on hand that was new...the code indicated a draft inducer motor fault. This is not considered part of trouble shooting? No need to be a douche...

This should be close to your trouble code directory

Table 7 — LED Indications
ERROR CODE LED INDICATION
Normal Operation On
Hardware Failure Off
Fan On/Off Delay Modified 1 Flash
Limit Switch Fault 2 Flashes
Flame Sense Fault 3 Flashes
Four Consecutive Limit Switch Faults 4 Flashes
Ignition Lockout Fault 5 Flashes
Induced-Draft Motor Fault 6 Flashes
Rollout Switch Fault 7 Flashes
Internal Control Fault 8 Flashes

Inducer is confirmed running by the sensor on the end of the motor.
