Hello! This is my first post here. A week or so ago a blade broke off of my condenser unit. I think some wires broke loose and fell into the blades breaking one. I ordered an 18 inch replacement which matches the old fan, both are also only 3 blades. The specs plate is too old to show the anything, so I don't know any specifics on anything.

Where I'm in trouble is the pitch. I ordered a 27° blade and it looks like the old one is probably 32°. It's also considerably lighter than the old one.

Will I be able to run this blade until I get the
correct one ordered?

(I know very little about any of this, so please keep that in mind lol)

Thank you!!

I would not do it w/o checking the freon pressures. It could cause them to be way too high on the discharge side and overload your unit.

Hard to say for sure. If your area isn't having its hot weather, and the motor doesn't spin too fast because of the decreased pitch. Should be okay for a short while.

I have no idea how to check freon levels.

I have a friend that works in HVAC that said he had a spare blade that was 18 inch but the pitch wasn't far off so it should work. I just wanted to get a second opinion on that.

I live in Missouri, in a trailer. It's gonna be about 90° all week.
