When is the best time to trim back fruit trees here in Missouri?

I once read the best time to prune is about 6 months previous to bloom time. If ya hurry you can get er done now and be close enough. Your county representative may be of assistance on timing also.

Best time is when they are dormant, i.e. November through February for most fruit trees.
