I have a 2000 trane xe 1200 and the reverse solenoid valve is shorting out. Any recomendations on where to get a new one around the DFW area? Do I have to replace the entire valve or just the solenoid? How hard of a job is this?

Thanks,
Rickey

Yes, the coil. I found one for 64.90. I hope that is a fair price. I am glad to hear that it is a fairly easy job. I was looking at it yesterday and it look like it should be easy enough. It looked like I take the 2 wires off, pull the pin out, and it should come right off. The part should be here today.
