I am changing from the original trane thermostat to a hunter 44132. Using the wiring diagram provided, I have too many wires. I have:
r=red
t=brown
o=orange
g=light green
y=yellow
x2=black
w=white
u=dark green.

Can anyone provide any assistance? I thought programmable would be great, guess I was wrong.

Thanks, Tommy

r=red = Rc and RH
t=brown = tape off
o=orange = O
g=light green = G
y=yellow = Y
x2=black = tape off
w=white = Aux/E
u=dark green = tape off
B = was a blue wire here? = C

You must also configure the new stat for heat pump operation with aux heat.
Setback temperature settings are not recommended in heat mode since the stat will bring on the expensive Aux heat to catch up.
