I have a 80KBtu furnace that has a variable speed blower that is making a lot of noise, probably due to the bearings wearing out for being on recirc 24/7 for the last 10 years.. What is the best way to pull the blower. Do I come in from the front? Or do I have to pull the stack apart and come in from the top?
You're going to have fun. Without looking at the manual, it should be behind the control board there. (remove the panel there) you'll have to remove everything there.
Does anyone know how to get the service manual that talks about order of operations for servicing the blower? I got the installer manual and Service tips docs. I can also just "wing it" and do my best.. Taking pictures as I go for the reference after it is all apart would probably work just fine for putting it back together.. Does anyone know if Trane publishes a service manual?
Thanks,
Jeff
