Trane ComfortLink II Thermostat

Does anyone know if this thermostat (the full color, LCD touch screen one) has a monthly fee? I had one place tell me yes and another place tell me no... I like some of the features on it, but if it has a monthly service fee just to use it, then no way..... thanks!

Nexia will allow you wifi access to control the thermostat and 1 additional device at no charge. This is what I was told yesterday by my boss.
