Recently, was backed into by a Toyota Tundra ( not sure of year). When the woman honked, the sound seemed to come from the side directions & I looked to the sounds, then she hit me.

Does anyone know what the science is here? Trying to understand if the horn sounds going to the back, also bounced off the brick walls on the sides & made it seem like it wasn't coming from the back. We were back to back on concrete.

Sorta. It's a spiral horn so it should have sort of directional effect.

More that likely the sound was bouncing off objects, cars, walls, and such.:vs_cool:
