Hi don't get annoyed , I'm new. I'm not sure if the picture will show what's going on so I'll try to describe it too. I tried to touch up our flat dining room paint. There was some left in the garage from several years ago so I tried that and wherever I put the paint on, trying brushes, roller, foam, etc, it look like a dirtier wet version of the same color. So I got new paint mixed to match, tested it on the vents and it was perfect. So I put some on the wall (it had been several months since the first try and the wall wasn't wet from anything). I rolled on a 4x4 square and it looked like it would match when it dried, but a couple minutes later there was a frame about an inch wide around where I painted that looked water wet. Now it's 12 hours later and the new painted square looks like different dirty wet colors. The original paint has been on for 5 years with no problems besides kid scuffs and dirt that wouldn't come off. I have no idea what to do so any suggestions at all will be greatly appreciated.
