Hello everyone,

Today, I tried to change toilet fill valve. I bought fluid master universal toilet fill valve. After replacing the valve, while connecting the water supply to the fill valve, it is continuously leaking when I restart the water. I tried 6 to 7 times and have been trying to screw the locknut with hand but it is still leaking. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Where? Leaking from the valve to tank connection or supply hose to valve?

Sounds like you did something wrong. If assemble correctly, it shouldn't take much more than hand tight. It's pretty straight forward procedure, but I attached a video.

Did you put the washer that goes on the bottom of fill valve in the right direction "bevel side down", so it make a good seal on the inside of the toilet. Sometimes those fluid masters put the washers all together and you have to take them apart.

Hope you get it figured out and fixed soon arrow.
