Hi,

I have a problem where my toilet doesn't flush with oomph. It's extremely weak. Here's what I have noticed:

1) After flushing, the water flows into the bowl and almost reaches the very top.
2) Then it just sits there and very slowly drains.
3) Once it get to the bottom, there's a very weak gurgle.

I've tried using the plunger for a long time and it didn't help. I can't imagine there being anything lodged in there since we keep the toilet cover down all the time. We don't throw non-toilet paper waste down there and it's not like an insane amount of toilet paper wads...

We do have hard water, but we use that bathroom almost as much as the other bathrooms. Oh, this bathroom is on the first floor and the other bathrooms are on the second floor...

If anyone could please help, I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks!

Take about 2 gallons of water in a bucket and stand as high as you can above the toilet bowl. Use ladder or have wife stand on your back.
Dump said water from the bucket into the toilet bowl---not into the toilet tank.

The force of the water may dislodge anything in the way.
