Hey guys,
I'm building some stain grade shaker style cabinet doors and drawers in red oak to replace the current ones, which have seen better days. I have all of the pieces cut to size and pretty much ready to put together, but I'm wondering if I should stain and poly the individual pieces before assembly, or put them together and do it afterwards.
I did the pre-finish before assembly technique a couple of years ago when I made my oak headboard and it came out fine. I'm just curious how the pros do it. Thanks
