Aluminum and steel go to scrap metal dealers. Small steel items like that get donated, since stell scrap is rated by the ton. Aluminum, copper, brings a fair price, however. Glass i break up and put in my recycling bin.

at least you can recycle broken glass.... around here they wont take it if its broke even if in a container they never have to touch inside..... yet when they pick the glass up they just toss the bin of glass into a metal truck... thus breaking it... :laughing:
