That would go on your cbu, so the tiles wouldn't be too proud of the lower edge. Have you considered a metal transition piece? A lot less brittle, and discreet compared to the marble. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Custom-...L-Shaped-Tile-Edging-Trim-H8701MF98/206449076
Yeah that's a much cleaner look. I've been using those profiles for my shower niche and tile edges.

My problem is my bathroom subfloor is 1 1/4" higher than my hallway subfloor.

After the finished floors go in, the gap will remain at 1 1/4".

What can I use to cover the gap from the finished hardwood to bathroom tile?

Install all your flooring outside the bathroom so you will have a clean landing zone. Then, once the tile is laid, you can use what Joe said, probably easier than a transition strip. I was going to suggest a bicycle ramp for something that high, but Joe's comment made better sense

Remember you can make your own with a table saw and router

A "landing tread" is not really for this situation. You want a bevel or ramp, not a 180 radius curve. However your hallway subfloor looks like just the original planks. If it were me I'd probably add 3/4" plywood there, unless you're going to get into an issue where you're adding all over your entire house.
