I would like to install a ceramic tile backsplash in my kitchen. It is currently all tongue & grove pine and runs the length of the entire wall including behind the cabinets. What is the best way to do this without having to take down all the cabinets? Pretty sure I would have to pull the base cabinets out too. Do I even need to remove the wood or is there a way to tile right over it? Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks!
Sorry, no pic. I thought if I wanted to tile over it I would need 1/2" tile board, and with that plus the tile it would be too much. You think 1/4" would work?
