Hello, My wife and I are looking to tile our basement. When we got rid of the carpet that was down there there is a crack in the floor from wall to wall. I know we can't tile over the crack without fixing it, but what are some of the ways we can fix it before tiling?

some spots its 1/4 inch thick, and its not level. is it possible to fill the crack and then weather it out?

Thank you

We need a picture of that----Concrete cracks---that what it does,However ,a crack that 'lifts' is moving and is a problem----You need a 'decoupling ' membrane in that area.

Post a picture,please.-----Mike----
