i would like to know if it would be ok to install mold&moisture resistant drywall?then just install that schluter kerdi over the drywall and install tile this is in a shower and one of the walls is a outside wall don't know if that helps or not

Call Schluter and ask----I believe it's O.K. with them.

Next call your building department---In the U.S. ,most jurisdictions do not allow any drywall in a shower

The codes were written before the new waterproof membranes were popular,I'm sure.--Mike---

just looking for it to last 20+yrs this is the first of 4 bathrooms i have to do at my house.. what would you all think would be the best to use
