tile butting to threshold

A
putting tile floor in entryway, the tile will butt right up to threshold with no problems. question is do i leave a small gap between threshold and tile then caulk it or fill with grout. my worries are the use of the door in the future and the impact of opening and clsing it. have kids that slam door occasionally. will this cause tiles to loosen or pop.

Use caulking not grout.
You should be able to get caulk that matches the grout.
Depending on the spacing if it's wide you can even get sanded caulk.
