i mistakenly put my filter into the spout with out the rubber thing that stops it from leaking and the filter went in to much and snaped off of the threads. now i have the thread of the filter stuck in the spout of my sink. is there a way i can remove it?
Similar to removing a busted light bulb from a socket, you will need to apply pressure to the 'inside' of the filter threads while rotating.
I had a similar situation with something or other. I used needlenose pliers and pried them apart to get the tension.
Hard to describe, I'll see if I can find something better
