Something is wrong with the way I wired my programmable thermostat.
If the yellow wire is in the y/o port, the heat works but no a/c.
When I move the yellow wire to the Y1 port, the a/c works but no heat.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Brand of heat pump, and brand and model number of new thermostat.
