I saw this problem about 8 yrs ago on this sight ,now I have it my thermostat on central air unit lowers itself to 70 degrees without any one touching it ,,I put it on 79 and it kicked on and reset it self to 70 degrees anyone know what wrong here.

Must either be a programmable t. stat or a nest which programs itself following previous conditions.
