Did you try contacting the company? By tech manual, do you mean a shop manual to repair these machines?

I haven't contacted the company yet. It's for a John Deere lawn mower. Yes I am looking for a manual that has diagrams of the lawn mower and the parts.

My next question. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram of the self propelled transmission and the parts. I took apart the transmission today and me being the cool guy I am I dropped the gear shaft. I am missing a couple parts.

I looked at the diagrams...looks like it's sold sold as a unit. Try calling an authorized JD service center in your area. They have some parts to sell you.
