I am in the final stages of finishing my "Man Cave" in the basement. PROBLEM... I am installing a bar sink (bottom of sink 28" from floor) the drain I would like to tap into is approx 10' away. The drain (see pict) is 3" "Y" for the upstairs kitchen and 2nd floor bath. I have 5" from floor to "Y". There is also another drain that is used for the A/C. I am sure it connects to main drain with a "P" trap. QUESTION....Can I use the drain for the A/C or do I have to go the main drain line. If main line, then what would be the best way to tap in?
