I have another post re:ignition for a BOSCH gwh 1600h LP.
Same heater, different concern. My bathroom is freezing. Why? because the negative pressure stack is open to the stars.
Can this possibly be normal? From under the unit, during the day, I can see indirect daylight at the top of the stack. Luckily it doesn't leak... How in gge can the device be considered green? Summer its not an issue-- cold air sinks, winter though, I might as well attach the ductwork right up to the bottom of the tankunit.
It vents to the roof above (about 5-6' -- I'd like to replace it with a direct vent unit. Or maybe a power vent -- if that has a backdraft preventer.
Ops? Ideas? thanks.
