Tankless water heater - flushing system/clean

Hello,

I have had my tankless water heater for around 3 years now and have yet to flush the system. I am on a well system and my water is a little hard. Should I just do a basic flush of the system........ or I have heard some kind of flush deal where you use vinegar to clear out any scale within the pipes.

Anyone ever hear of this, or anyone have any good tips?

Thanks

Don't know what brand you have.. Rheem ( I'am sure others also) has a flush kit comes with circulation pump to perform a vinegas / water flush.. Does your"s have the flush valve kit installed ?
It's a Noritz brand and no I don't believe any flush kit was installed.

Valvesd were installed so I could flush the system out (is that what you are talking about)

as far as the 'vinegar' flush... is there any easy way to do it?
You will have to have a way to pump the solution through the heater's water coil.. Check with the company to see if they offer a pump.. You run the solution through the water coil through the flush valves by way of a pump
