From my point of view the higher the SEER the more complicated the technology, the higher the tech the odds of something going wrong is greater. The first service call will wipe out years of SEER savings. Learned my lesson on that!

Of course my opinion and worth what you are paying for it.

Both of them are disposable units. Not really any difference.
