People,

I rewired with 2 new ballasts a t12, 4' , 4 lamp fixture (2 ballasts/2 bulbs). Did this recently to other fixturesd with good luck. But this fixture- sheesh, turned on the light switch to test and the 4 bulbs do light but noticeably dim. Any idea what the problem is?

You need to wire it according to the drawing on the ballast. If you didn't then it won't work properly.
Did you install new lamps?

Yes, all new lamps. I wired it according to the old setup- yellow/blue wires to same. Sound right? PS- similar other fixtures like I said above, I have wired the same and all works well.........

Probably not, since it doesn't work, but I can't tell. You need to wire it according to the drawing on the ballast. The colours may not match the old wires.

Any reason you did not put in a 4 light T8 ballast? You know they don't even make a 4 foot T12 lamp anymore.
