I am trying to find out if this is the right way to do it.

-take of track lighting
-connect wires to the junction between already ran wire for track lights and the track light to the new location
-connect new light to that ran wire

Just two hallway lights, single bulb instead of the full on track light with 4 bulbs.

will have to cut hole in ceiling and add in light mount.
