A few years ago, I bought Sycom surge protector (syc-120/240 tc) for my home's 200 Amp main panel. As per its instructions, I connected its white wire with the other white wires, connected #1 black wire into a 30A breaker and connected its #2 black wire to a different 30A breaker. Each breaker is on a different panel phase. Thus, covering both phases of my home's 200A electrical panel. The Sycom unit has been working great. For my Travel Trailer (that uses max 30A 110V power), I was hoping to install the same Sycom Surge protection unit. Plan to install its white wire with the other white wires and connect #1 black wire to a 30A breaker. Thus, covering its single phase service. Here's my question... For its #2 black wire, do I connect it to a 30A breaker (as well) or simply leave this #2 black wire disconnected? Leave disconnected because the main panel in my TT is a single phase service?
thanks.
