Hi all, I am about to have my whirlpool installed in the basement. I have the ledger board up and the tub is level. On the bottom of the tub there is 4 legs to support the tub. 3 legs are touching the ground, but the 4th rests over gravel which fills in the waste lines/overflow cavity in the floor. The tub is acrylic and I am wondering if by the 4th leg not touching the ground if this will cause problems down the road. Any ideas on how I can support the 4th leg eliminating any future concern?

I think you want the forth leg helping to support the tub. First, is the leg adjustable like on a washing machine? Second, could you put a piece of steel or wood across the area to bring it to the leg?
