We bought this sump pump last October. Lately, it's been pumping slowly and then it will all at once pump.
Do we have a lemon? We tried checking the check valve.

You mean the motor itself is slow to "wind up" or is there a tall water column to push out first and you are comparing gushing noises of the water?

It was working fine for awhile. Took 7 seconds to empty the well. Now it pumps slowly for some time until it finally pumps at full gush. I actually saw the difference of flow.

Ayuh,..... But is it the motor runnin' slowly, or the motor runnin' at speed, but the water moves slowly,..??
