I am looking for free plans and or suggestion on building a new desk with some storage drawers for my daughters room so she can do her homework. Something that is around 35-40" wide would be optimal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, I am looking for actual plans or sketches with cut sheets etc for such desk.

If you want to make it really easy, go grab two Ikea Akurum base cabinets and a laminated tabletop, cut to whatever size you wish. You can then add doors or drawers from Ikea's kitchen systems and call it a day.
