Hello,

I'm new to this site and new to the concept of submersible pumps. I purchased a "Submersible Dirty Water Pump" from Harbor Freight (item # 69300) with the intent of draining some water outside (specifically, my pool).

I know the very end of the cord, where it would plug into either the electrical socket, or an extension cord, CANNOT be submerged, but other than this can this whole thing go in the water????

Any assistance would be great!

Not that you asked about help with the pool, but are draining the dirty water off the cover or are you draining the pool itself.
