The submersible pump for my waterfall went out (it was an expensive all steel pump) and I bought a 1/2 HP pump from Harbor Freight that was on sale for $29. to drain the pond below the waterfall. It worked great so I hooked it up to the waterfall and it works like a champ. Similiar pumps at Sears, Orchard, or a pump store run from labout $80 to almost $200. Will I be ok with my $29. job or is it going to wear out quickly if I run it the better part of the day, each day? The low price makes me suspicious.
