I may be temporarily living in the upstairs of a small cape cod house...(renting)
Years ago the owners installed a sink, counter, fridge but no stove- I want to rent it since it's cheap and has everything I need (minus the stove)- there is room for a small table as well. I enjoy cooking- Are there options out there that I can use to cook? I know running gas is not really an option right now- If I have a small electric 2 burner stove- do I need a vent? are there any other options?

If you go electric, don't go induction. Just buy a double burner hot plate for about 20% of the cost of induction. Induction also requires special pans, standard hot plates work with what you have.

ok spaceman....

French chicken onion soup, with fried boneless chicken breast ( chicken
first floured and then dipped in egg before frying) topped with grading
cheese, then mozzarella and toasted Italian bread croutons.
Then in the puck often for about 10 to 12 minutes.

BTW...Breville makes a counter top oven as well, but I believe it's
digital. I didn't want digital.
