For some reason my storm door jamb bracket continues to get bent and pull out from the jamb. I have replaced it 4 times now and even bought a bracket with 6 mounting holes and used longer screws and still after a few weeks becomes distorted. Any suggestions? The angled part of the bracket should face the door, correct? I

Are you referring to the pneumatic door closer? How long are the screws you are using?

I am guessing the door closer as well.

Put a limit chain on it as well. Sounds like the door is getting torqued via opening it hard or the wind is ripping it to far open.
