I was searching for an easy to install option for stone siding as a feature for the outside of my house. I found a few options (Genstone, Nextstone, and some other terrible ones), and actually bought and started installing some called Nexstone that I saw at a Home Hardware. Then I found one called Quality Stone on the web at www.qualitystoneproducts.com. It actually looks like real stone, and you just have to cut it with a saw and screw it on. I wish someone had told me about this before I wasted money on another product. I ended up doing a bunch on the front of my house, and did a fireplace and feature wall inside.

I thought I read that this product deteriorated when exposed to the elements and in some cases just high humidity caused failure.

That may be somewhat subjective...........

Kind of like saying vinyl siding looks just like cedar siding.........
Ray Charles never had an issue.

Apparently that NextStone stuff is some sort of polymer or something. It can't be cultured stone, since it weighs only about 1 lb. per square foot. Has anyone ever seen that type of product installed?

How do you feel about cultured stone veneer?
