BM is slowly moving all its paints to the new Gennex tint system. The new version of Regal is called Regal select- and I use it all the time.
For scuff resistance nothing beats Aura. But it is pricy. I use it frequently.
I have heard that the "Ben " line ( one up from Super Spec) is actually a reformulated version of the old Regal ( not SS)
And the new Gennex Super Spec is called Ultra spec- and is good for the price, but will not be as hardy as Aura of course.
And you can use the SS to first coat no problem. I do that when using Aura.
Same color- gets it very close so Aura can knock it home.
BTW- when using SS or US- add a splash (less than 10%) of water and use a 1/2 roller ( a good one..) . Makes it actually cover better.
