I really appreciate all the time and patience from the experts on this site! I've been on here a little over a year, and it seems I have more questions now than when I started!
At this point, we are about 1/3 of the way into a major renovation and redecorating project.
Going forward, there are some things I would like to improve upon.
1st Question - wall paint!
Twenty years ago, we did our share of painting and BM Regal was our favorite, but I didn't like how it applied this time around. Paint store told us that BM Super Spec (eggshell), was the closest to the old Regal. It laid down well, but now we see that it takes marks easily, and I'm hesitant as to what to clean it with.
So far I've used it in 4 bedrooms and a stairway/hallway. Bedrooms are fairly large, and used only for guests, so it should stand up fine there. But I think I might need to repaint the hall and stairway. I'm using all BM colors, so should I try Regal again, go up to Aura or ??
And, since I still have a couple of gallons of the Super Spec (in the same color I will be using), can I use that for a 1st coat, and go over it with the better grade?:boat:
