Crud. Just got a call that the office was exposed to Covid yesterday. The person that tested positive today was exposed Saturday, three days earlier.

I’m anxious to get the faucet project done, but I’m going to reschedule Fridays appointment..
With all of the projects you knocked out over the years, I am sure you have the skill set to install those fixtures.

I was unaware of the cost of the Toto or Kohler. I installed one years ago for a client in a bathroom remodel. She had it on site for us. Gee. The LED lights have a proximity device that turns them on when you approach it. Not only that, but when you leave it lowers both seat and lid automatically.

Now you have to tell us what’s different or special about it. Looks like a combination bidet? Heated seat maybe? Not sure what those other diagrams on the remote are?
Yeah, combo bidet with heated seat, heated water for the bidet, prewash when you sit down so that nothing sticks to the bowl, heated feminine wash, adjustable spray settings with memory for two users, deodorizing fan. You can adjust the spray settings for both temp and pressure too. This one doesn't have the auto-open lid like the other one I've done, that feature comes with an enema setting and lights in the bowl. The porcelain is supposed to have some sort of special antibacterial glazing too. Honestly, if money was no object I would have one probably :ROFLMAO: , just for the cool factor.

At the other end of the Spectrum;
My grandpa‘s farm in the Appalachian foothills had an out house and there were times with Septic trouble and we had to use it. That was when I was little but only about 15 years ago when I was back there my cousin, sister, and I went to grandpas old church next to the graveyard. It had an outhouse. Yeah we were all older adults but I couldn’t help it …..when my sister went in the outhouse I was outside & yelled to her ‘check for snakes before you sit down’ and she screamed. I thought that was pretty funny. A few years later they put in some kind of weird toilet. You had to sit firmly on the seat to activate it and I think it was kind of like a human kitty litter thing, but the church has been torn down now .

Good times.

farm in the Appalachian foothills had an out house
About 25 yrs ago I painted a new construction house deep in the woods. The owner had converted a portajon into an outhouse. I had a girl working for me and she came back from the outhouse saying - it doesn't have a bottom! Guess she had never seen an outhouse before.

My grandfather had several outhouses scattered around his farm for the migrant workers. One of them was a 2 holer. Me and my cousins didn't think anything about using that one at the same time ..... my how things change when you grow up.

Bless you for the kind words

I don’t know anything about dynamite if it comes in small sticks, but a neighbor when I was growing up would move his outhouse. He’d blast a hole with dynamite, and he’d say, ‘you kids get back and cover your heads’ when it went off.

As @Matt1963 said it's just a toilet.

Which is why 5 years ago, I bought a pair of Basic American Standard Comfort height elongated front, for $200.00 each.

Now that I'm lame, and older they help a lot, that and GRAB BARS.

ED
Comfort height and ADA are the same toilet. But the marketing people say homeowners will buy a 'comfort' toilet before an ADA toilet.
However, when trying to meet ADA requirements in a public use building project, architects and engineers want ADA toilets

I installed an add on bidet unit on my Niagara Conservation toilet, comfort height. After two shoulder replacements you'll appreciate one. $35 was a no brainer.
i love our two Niagara toilets plus the two Genie bidet added onto them. Excellent flushers and totally saves on toilet paper. Never felt cleaner. Do you have the one or duo flush version?

If you are still looking for a faucet, look at the Alfi brand faucets. Many of them are 100% solid stainless steel (304 grade). No finish plating to ever be destroyed by hard water. No corrosion ever! Also, they have quality internals (such as Kerox cartridge) that can be serviced down the line.
I got this one:

there are other manufacturers who offer solid stainless steel. I wished the big ones such as Delta and Moen would offer this material, but no such luck. I am looking for rugged performance in a harsh environment. Chrome plated stuff always failed for me ultimately.

Haven’t heard of Alfi. I’ll check them out. Yours look great. The Moen I bought, still in the box, says stainless. (But not solid)

Yeah, that most likely refers to the plated finish only. Actual solid stainless steel is usually advertised as such. Look for stuff like “304” which denotes the composition of the stainless steal (in this case your typical general use SS with 18% chromium and 10% nickel in the alloy).
