There are a number of companies that provide vinyl and fiberglass (even laminate products) tread covers. Google "Stair Tread Coverings".
Staircase covering, help needed
Hey everyone, so im remodelling alot at my new place, and well the stairs here have a carpet which i don't like. Ihaven't taken off the carpet yet, but i've looked under and I see that it's a compressed type wood, which i thought i can maybe paint over? then varnish? or do i need to cover it with something.
Either way, can someone help me and tell me what would be the cheapest way to switch from carpet to no carpet on my stairs, thank you!!!!!!!!
