First off I was not sure which page to post this on.

I installed a 3 board ky board fence last summer with the wire netting. I would like to stain the fence this spring/summer with a gun but am not sure how the stain would react to being on the wire mesh. Would it stick to it, or would you even notice it was on the mesh? I'd hate to have to brush it all on to avoid it getting in the wire mesh.

idk. but i got some on my metal brackets and concrete piers for my deck. and the stuff looks to be sticking pretty good.

i think doing all of the wire would make the fence look even better. and i am sure it would not last. but you would need to redo the wood now&then, so just redo the wire also.

i think rolling the wire would be a LOT less waistfull. and it should be pretty easy and quick.

the easiest and best way to accomplish this task is to get a deck oil or deck stain by a cheap pump up sprayer and go to town.

How many board feet of fence to you have Cincinnati Guy? What color?

I had really good luck with the Home Depot paint counter guy (he is awesome) and he mixed me up some custom stain (mine was black) and it has held up awesome for about 5 years. The sections that I painted have all come off and look like crap now.
