Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has seen or done a sliding tray or other method to move a stacked washer and dryer in and out in case the units have to be serviced. I have not installed them yet, and would like to be able to move them in and out without a lot of effort in the future should trouble arise. Thank you in advance....

sounds like a good idea, but... I see two problems. 1) you will not be able to make a heavy enough sliding tray to support a stack unit, you will have vibration and walking issues. 2) Vent issues, how will you hook up the exhaust vent for the dryer ?

That is what I was thinking of too... I was hoping someone had a clever idea or had seen anything like that. The best idea so far to me is to keep the one side panel available for the option to open up. Walking the unit back slowly, then having the side panel off will help with making sure the hookups are not pinched.
