Running into an issue with our hardwood floors which are floating & glued together at the seams. There are a few spots in which there is quite a bit of squeaking. The basement is finished, so wondering the best way to handle this. My thoughts thus far are one of two options:
1) pull up trim and try up floor as much as I can and sneak a few screws into the subfloor and joists, then put it back down
2) cut out a section of the floor above the problem area, then throw some screws in, then glue that section back in with a spare piece I saved from the original install.
Please help!
