If you were using a 60 amp breaker for your generator with the interlock kit to have your main off while gen is running is there enough room for the 60 amp to kick off if there is some kind of problem.

If you are using a listed interlock, should not be a problem.

The breaker on your gennie will probably kick first though...

I think you are asking if the handle has enough room to move to the off position if the breaker trips. The breaker has an internal trip mechanism and the handle does not have to move at all for it to trip internally.
