if they spray foamed between the rafters you wouldnt want vents but if they sprayed between the ceiling joists you will still need the vents.

Looking at a new home and am puzzled by what I see. It looks like the builder installed ridge and soffit vents for the roof and then decided to spray foam the entire attic including covering the vents. If spraying in between the rafters now insulates the attic from above is this a big deal?
